About
I am a London-based Mix Engineer and Producer with seven years of experience in high-profile studios, currently serving as the full-time engineer for the legendary Trevor Horn.
My career has been defined by a balance of elite technical precision and active participation in the indie scene, ranging from engineering major-label releases like the Band Aid 40 (2024 Ultimate Mix) and projects including Rick Astley and Iggy Pop, to producing and mixing for breakthrough artists like Alien Chicks and Trunky Juno.
I was awarded the 2025 Visions of Sound Award for Best Immersive Pop Mix for Seal’s second album, and it allows me to bring a major-label standard of weight and clarity to independent records without losing the raw, visceral energy that makes them work.

Alex worked with our band ‘Vice Killer’ on our EP ‘Alone, in This World’ and our single ‘Heroine’ He produced and mastered all the songs. Alex provided his own ideas for changes in dynamics, and sounds for the tracks, which made a huge difference in the end!
During the recording of the EP, he was able to provide assistance with a range of guitar sounds and synths. We highly recommend Alex as a producer, from working with on our debut EP we made sure to work with him again on our next records!

Alex produced and engineered my rock and roll band The Big Three’s EP in 2020 and was superb.
